A Place Where Hope Begins

Northlands Rescue Mission is a place of rescue, relief and restoration for all who come here, no matter their needs or challenges. For the homeless living on the streets, we’re a hot meal, a warm bed and a second chance. For the mentally ill, we are a safe harbor that offers compassionate care. For an impoverished family in crisis, we are a source of help and hope.

Our Christian-based nonprofit ministry provides homeless men and women in 21 counties in North Dakota and Minnesota with shelter, meals, clothing, spiritual guidance and case management, all delivered in a safe environment, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

With your help, we offer a place of hope where people can recover from homelessness and addiction, restore their dignity and improve their lives.

Few of our guests are able to pay for the help they receive here. But we believe God will raise up the funds we need to keep our doors open, doing His work with the poor and downtrodden. The majority of our funding comes from compassionate individuals, businesses, churches, organizations and foundations.

We are a member of the United Way of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. We are firmly committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity in our daily operations and finances. As such, we are a member in good standing of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM). The AGRM exists to promote cooperation among missions, develop high standards of Gospel and relief work and rehabilitation efforts, prevent duplication and provide training and support for its members.
